When I finally had the confidence to move forward in the direction of my purpose welcome opportunities are flying towards me. When we make a decision about the path forward and begin to take actions on them then things naturally come towards us. I put it out to my network that I am interested in certain opportunities and they have begun to put me in touch with their friends and colleagues who are working in those areas. I have found opportunities as a result of being part of larger networks and people are looking on their own for me. I feel privileged to have a large network, to be able to lean on them, and to be able to provide for them as well. It is always a give and a take, but I feel privileged to right now be able to lean in and see dozens of people, opportunities, and resources coming my way. I am eternally grateful for the work I do, the friends I have, but mainly the duty I feel towards pursuing the purpose I have in my heart to work towards.
What are you being called to do? How can you leverage your network, resources, and/or support to move that purpose forward?

As I took the time to self care over the holidays it was really clear to me that my bonds with who I am and the role I have been playing over the course of the last 12 years is one of change agent, leadership trainer and coach and I realize that I feel confident in that role. But even with confidence I was not fully aligning to the dreams I had in my heart. I wanted to shift more into working with commercial clients as well as facilitating many more mindfulness programs. As I return and get back into the swing of the year I finally am ready to pivot and make decisions, take actions, and say no to things which are not taking me in that direction.
As a result I am confident in my bones that I am living my purpose. I am putting what I am meant to be doing out there and thereby am letting my heart and spirit truly thrive. What do you need to taking action on which would bring you confidence? What is aligned with your purpose which is you need to step up into? Over the holidays I took time off - 3 weeks in fact - and as a result I came back to work this week rested and rejuvenated in a way that offered deep joy and care to my clients. I was modeling the behavior of self-care I speak about with my clients. I allowed my heart to truly feel blissful experiences. I dedicated time and energy to the people I love as well as dedicated energy towards who I am and the world I adore!
What gets you rested and rejuvenated? Do you take the time and energy to dedicate to those things? If so how do you feel afterwards and how does that contribute to your day to day life when you return? If not how can you add more of it into your experience? |
